Scott Blumenshine

Scott Blumenshine’s mission is to obtain proper and timely payment for people who have major insurance claimspersonal injury claims, and fatal accidents.  He feels called to action by Proverb 31:8, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.”

He has recovered millions of dollars in compensation for clients through settlement, mediation, arbitration and trial. He and his team listen to clients, explain the legal process and work toward prompt and full payment of claims. He has developed a robust system for moving claims from beginning to end in an effective and timely manner.

Mr. Blumenshine is invested in improving the legal system for regular people. He often writes for legal publications and speaks at continuing legal education seminars. He authored Illinois Insurance Code amendments protecting insurance consumers. The Insurance Code amendments increased penalties for insurance bad faith and increased the limit on uninsured and underinsured motorist binding arbitration awards.

Mr. Blumenshine has been a public voice regarding significant safety dangers being addressed in the courts. He was interviewed by Pam Zekman on a CBS Channel 2 News segment. The story was about a client’s catastrophic injuries caused by a trucking collision,  and he gave his views on the subject of truck side rail crash protection. He has been on Spanish speaking media in connection with an  assault claim brought against a famous latin performer.  Scott has provided media commentary regarding life insurance litigation arising from a death in Aruba.  Additionally, he has been quoted in articles regarding changes in Illinois insurance law.
